Coming from an artistic background, I sometimes overcomplicate the origins and concepts of my projects. For this work, I found inspiration in the simplest way: by walking down a street of my city.

"Urban Nature's" origins come from Oudegracht, Utrecht, a city in the Netherlands in which I spent the first two years of my studies. Oudegracht is a beautiful, picturesque street with a vibrant atmosphere. However, I "dissected" it, mundanely finding silhouettes to base my designs off of. Using five silhouettes from this street, I created this collection of ninety pieces.
